Peter brings to Moreland Affordable Housing over 15-years’ experience in urban and environmental planning, property development and transactions within private, government and non-for-profit sectors.

Amanda brings many years of experience in affordable and sustainable housing. Amanda is a lawyer and consultant with extensive senior management experience in government and public interest advocacy groups, providing evaluations, strategic reviews and governance advice to government and not-for-profits.

BArch(Hons) | Ahmad has over 20 years experience serving on the boards of not-for-profit organisations. Ahmad is a founding Director of an award winning architectural practice that has delivered community & social housing projects for state government clients across Australia. He brings a particular interest in affordable & innovative multi-residential dwelling models and typologies.

MBA, G Dip Mgmt, B Eng (Hons) | Mark has more than 30 years of experience working in the commercial and industrial sectors in Australia, Europe, Africa and Asia. His experience ranges widely from executive leadership, management, engineering, marketing, services development, customer engagement, and university lecturing through to consulting in the disability/assisted technology sector, youth support, disruptive technology, alternative energy, and logistics & transport sectors.

Rosemary has over thirty years’ experience working in law, governance, regulatory agencies, public administration and planning and environment. She has worked in senior executive positions in areas including transport, business, regional development and health. She also has expertise in conciliation and mediation, particularly in the resolution of planning and development disputes. Rosemary is committed to strong public policy which delivers for the community, and is keen to contribute to the creation of affordable housing for people in Merri-bek.

Peter Chau

Peter has over 20 years’ experience in the property, construction and infrastructure industries, having been an architect, lawyer and property development executive. Peter is currently general counsel for a national developer, and have held executive positions for both private and government property developers and property asset managers. Having grown up in the Kensington commission towers, Peter is passionate about and has first hand knowledge of the critical life foundations that affordable, public housing can provide.

Beverley has extensive experience the areas of social, community and government policy and planning. She has held a range of senior positions and as a strategy and policy consultant. She is the director of social policy and research consultancy that undertakes strategic and social planning, project management, and policy development, in areas
including housing, social and community services and infrastructure development and support services following disasters, Bushfire and pandemic. Beverley is committed to working towards social justice and fairness and equity in all aspects of Australian Society. Beverley was one of the founders and Board Chair of Women’s Property Initiatives as well as the Consumer Law Action Centre.
